It’s Parents’ Week! (Isn’t that every week?)
Parents’ Week isn’t so much about celebrating parents as it is encouraging them to get families spending more time together by making ‘one change’, which is something we’ve talked about on Quib.ly many a time! Here’s a few of our stand-out conversations on the subject.

Trolls target baby monitor
Think staying off social networks is enough to avoid the trolls? Think again: earlier this month a hacker took control of a baby monitor and hurled abuse at a two-year-old.
‘Power to the parents!’ with the MiiPC
Quib.ly parents and professionals have debated how much monitoring is the right amount when it comes to your kids’ computer usage before: whether it’s best to let them get on with it, go full Big Brother, or to maintain a balance between the two. The Kickstarter-funded MiiPC is an elegant solution to that problem. An elegant solution that you can play Angry Birds on.

A play date? Here’s my card
It may sound a little nutty – the sort of thing people with too much money splash out on – but it does actually have some practical uses, like detailing dietary requirements and emergency contact info for when your child is on a ‘play date’.
